The road between now and the driverless future is paved with new technology that will do wonders for our security and comfort behind the wheel. This technology is asked to solve, among other things, the problem of a safe driving in any weather. A solution to this problem cannot but include a disruption of the current paradigm of weather monitoring, to make it more granular, reactive, and useful.

This will result in a continually updated look at what cars should expect to see on the road in addition to what they're able to observe in their immediate surroundings, with a consequent optimization of routes and a reduction of traffic and risks.
